I have two children on the Utah Fits All Scholarship, and it has been such a huge blessing for our family.

My husband, who has terminal brain cancer, became disabled and unable to work this year due to his disease progression. With my kids’ tumultuous lives with a sick dad, they are still able to continue parts of their lives with some normalcy. With our now severely decreased income, we would not be able to continue to provide them with the learning opportunities they have had, if it weren’t for this scholarship.

My oldest can continue with her passion for music. She does ballet & takes music lessons. Music is a great way for her to express herself and it’s something she truly loves. My younger daughter is able to continue going to the Waldorf Forest School, getting her high energy and sensory needs met, while building a calming connection with nature. I can buy them what they need for their education and edification without the stress of how to pay for it, and it’s been a huge stress relief for our family in this difficult time.

Thank you, legislators, for supporting the UFA program, and for investing in so many children’s lives.
